These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Lafz (the "App"), published by Octablend ("we," "us," "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Lafz on Apple devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use, subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement and these Terms.
Lafz presents Qur'anic vocabulary, transliterations, translations, and example verses for educational purposes, to help you learn the language of the Qur'an. It is a study aid, not a substitute for qualified scholarly instruction, and translations may not capture every nuance of the original Arabic. We take care to present this content accurately and respectfully, and welcome corrections at the contact below.
Lafz offers optional, voluntary purchases — Small Tip, Medium Tip, and Large Tip — to support ongoing development. These are consumable purchases with no expiry beyond a single use. They:
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't guarantee the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Octablend will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months before the claim.
We may update the App and these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date above. Continuing to use the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
