Octablend ("we," "us," "our") operates Lafz, an app for learning Qur'anic vocabulary ("the App"). This policy explains how the App handles your information.
Lafz is designed to work fully offline. It does not require an account or sign-in, and it does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data about you, on our servers or anywhere else. There is no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, and no tracking of any kind built into the App.
Your learning progress, streaks, review history, and settings (such as language or theme) are stored locally on your device only. This information is never transmitted to us or to any third party, and we have no access to it. Uninstalling the App, or resetting/replacing your device, removes this data.
Lafz offers optional "Tip Jar" purchases (Small, Medium, and Large Tip). These are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store's in-app purchase system. Octablend does not receive, see, or store your payment information — Apple handles billing, payment methods, and receipts directly. See Apple's own Privacy Policy for how Apple handles this information.
Because Lafz does not collect any data from any user, it does not knowingly collect data from children either.
Lafz does not share data with third parties, for the simple reason that it does not collect any to share.
If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version of the App adds a feature that collects data — we will update this page and revise the effective date above before that change takes effect.
